Handmade, hand-lasted and hand-sewn welted CRUXdeluxe Monkey boots with a 270-degree hand-stitched Baseball seam upper, built on the “Hank Jr.” last in Sumi hand-dyed “Gasoline” Horsebutt leather (Maryam Tannery Italy), black Dr. Sole Raw Cord full sole & Trooper’s heel, Sumi-waxed Welt finished, Sumi-waxed Flat Cotton laces and heavy-duty Black Oxide-finished Brass hardware with a Chain-Stitch finished 270º Norwegian Storm Welt.

Please choose your preferred hardware configuration of all Eyelets or Eyelets + Speed Hooks.

About our “Gasoline” Horsebutt leather, part of our SUMI SERIES…

Gasoline Horsebutt is a tri-colored hand-dye recipe incorporating Yuen-boku Sumi Ink (Black), Red and Green dyes. It appears Black out-of-the-box and will age through the top layer of Sumi dye through the underlying layer of Red, until it finally wears through to a Green core.

The Horsebutt leather that we use to make “Gasoline” is vegetable tanned by Maryam Tannery, located in Santa Croce, Tuscany, Italy and is glazed finished with a breathable but durable TPR (thermoplastic resin) layer on the smooth top-side of the leather.
