About our Shrunken Horsehide Boondocker boots…
Handmade, hand-lasted and hand-welted Boondocker boots with 6.5-inch tall ankle shaft and brass hardware in 2.2 mm THICK Shrunken Black Teacore Horsehide leather made on our Hank last. Shrunken Black Teacore Horsehide leather vegetable tanned and pigment finished by Nitta Tannery in Himeji, Japan.

How this leather will age…
This Shrunken Horsehide leather will age like a traditional Black Teacore horsehide to a Brown core underneath the Black pigment finish, but comes “Shrunken” during the tanning process, leaving a thicker weight with a very heavy grain structure.

Sizing the Hank last
For a snug fit, take your true Brannock size.
For a normal to relaxed fit, take one half size up from your Brannock size.
